Calm Harm is an app developed for teenage mental health using the basic principles of an evidence-based therapy called Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Calm Harm provides tasks to help you resist or manage the urge to self-harm. You can make it private by setting a password, and personalise the app if you so wish. You will be able to track your progress and notice change.
*Please note the app is an aid in treatment but does not replace it.

Services: Horizon is a website that is designed to help students and youth access supports and services. They have 2 ways to search for resources, ROOTS and BRANCHES. Go to SOURCES OF SUPPORT (ROOTS) if you already know what organization you would like to know more information. Organizations are listed by name with descriptions of the services they offer. Of course many organizations have different functions, but as much as possible, they have been divided into categories according to how they self-identify or where they fit best. Go to SUPPORTS FOR STUDENTS (BRANCHES) if you know what you need but not where to find it. Select the type of service/support you require. This will generate a search throughout the database for resources related to that particular need from all the organizations in ROOTS.
